I have four days off this weekend. I even get paid for it! YES! New job and holiday pay in one week, that sooooooo rocks.
Today, I learned a few things, the legal software they use is completely new to me, it's neat though and I've even entered a few clients and it hasn't crashed so I'm guessing it's April proof. I opened two new files, much different procedure than the old office, and that was pretty easy too! We use WordPerfect there rather than Microsoft Word. I have Word and Works on my laptop so I'm not able to brush up on that too much but maybe I can take a class at Vo-tech this fall or something. We used WP at PMM years ago but that was nearly 10 years and many versions ago so my knowledge is outdated. The ladies I work with are sooooooo nice. It's nice to just talk to women and cut up... I needed that.
At my old job, I felt a lot of pressure to get things done, stay busy, be one step ahead. I had a great boss and I absolutely loved working there, but the difference is so night and day. I feel so calm now, I didn't even realize how stressed I was at the time, but I see it now.
I didn't know that the office closed at 4:00 on Fridays and T, one of the other girls, left skid marks from her flip flops out the door. LOL I barely understood her as she flew out of there! Actually, it wasn't quite like that, but she was in a hurry. C and D were still in their offices so I went back and talked to them, thinking maybe it was a holiday thing, but no, it's a Friday thing! WOO HOO! That rocks!
There was one funny situation today, I had two lines ringing at the same time, I put line 1 on hold and answered line 2, line 2 spoke in a thick hispanic accent and said his name was "Jose" and wanted an appointment for his friend who didn't speak English, I said ok, let me put you on hold, and I went back to line 1, he also had a hispanic accent and said his name was "Jose" and wanted an appointment. I thought wait a minute..... so I asked his last name and who his attorney was and he told me, then I went back to line 2 and asked him his last name and his attorney's name and he didn't have one, an attorney, he had a last name, but don't ask me what it was, by that time I was so confused I was happy with Jose no name and Jose name. LOL
My sister emailed me today, she's going to have a C-Section in October, probably sooner though, she's having a lot of problems. Joey starts pre-school in August or so and she can't wait for that. She bought a new Ford Freestar and loves it (so happy for her on that!). Her mom is very sick and may not have too much longer to live, so sad.... And, if all that isn't enough, my sister was in the hospital with kidney stones and had to havve a stint put in! Good grief, when it rains it pours for her!
I have some major plans for tomorrow so I'm going to bed early!!!!!!!!
I'm a busy woman. I'm a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister and a friend to so many. I work full time, I have a life of my own that I'm just not living anymore. I feel like I am drowning at times. People always ask me to do things and I usually do them, but first..... I'm stopping. I'm saying no. Hell no. I'm putting ME first now, so let's get started on the ME, oh, wait, but first.....

A quickie.......
Not much time to blog tonight, dinner is on the stove, I've got to make a Wal-Mart run and I need to gas up my car before the gas gets to $3.00 a gallon for the holiday weekend.
The new job started today and lemme tell you I LOVE IT! We had a client walk in today, she was a client at my old office and the look on her face was priceless! She soooooooo did not expect to see me there! LOL
We don't use Yahoo IM there (they use MSN Messenger) but I did figure out how to listen to LAUNCHcast without having messenger on so it's fine, just fine.
There are a couple different things there that I'm not used to, like their fax machine. You fax with the text down, totally different than any other fax machine I've ever used! I know there will be a blank fax in my day soon. LOL They also have one hell of a copier, I'm almost scared to touch it, it's so nice! All the bells and whistles a girl could dream of! WOO HOO!
Ok, my scallops are screamin' at me so I'd better get back to the kitchen. Does it ever end?

TMI Tuesday
1. Are you a member of the mile high club? No, when Bob flies he is highly medicated and completely intoxicated, sex is the furthest thing from his mind.
2. Do you give/get special sexual attention on your birthday/special occasions? Yes, give AND get.
3. a)Stubble... good or bad? On men, yeah, it can look sexy, but not on women.
b)How often do you shave? It depends, 2 or 3 times a week in summer, once in a blue moon in the winter.
4. a)Have you ever let someone else shave for you? Yes
b)What parts? :) My bikini area, my legs........
5. On a scale of 1-10, how much of a pottymouth are you? Oh wow, a 7? LOL, It's pretty bad. It really depends on the people I'm with too. There are a few words I despise and to me they are pure venom.
Bonus (as in "optional"): a)How often do you spend on foreplay? Definition please? LOL Just kidding, it depends on my mood or how much time we have.
b)How long would you like to spend? Totally depends on my mood...... Sometimes that's all I want, other times I don't want it at all!
Now, of course, it's YOUR turn!!!! DO NOT forget to leave your own answers in my comments, okay?! Or don't.....and just be like that. lol ;)

$2 Off Coupons, Woodard Hollow Sunburns and High Winds
Friday night we went to the Miami Sidewalk Sale. No, there were no sidewalks for sale, and very few businesses were selling their wares on the sidewalks but there were carnival rides, dunking tanks and general fun activities all around.
I had seen in the Westco ad in the local paper a $2 off coupon for the wrist bands for the rides. Usually we just buy a few tickets (cause we're poor) and call it a day, but I thought, hey, my kid's worth it and here I have this coupon, I told her she was getting a wrist band. Long story short, you had to take the coupon to Westco before 4:00, hang upside down from a triple bunk bed, pee in an ice maker and flash your hooters to the store owner and his cohorts. Needless to say the paper failed to mention any of this and I did not know we had to go to Westco by 4:00 so my hanging upside down, urinating and flashing did not take place. Thank GOD. Personally, I will NEVER do business with Westco over that little $2 coupon fiasco, but hey, that's their problem not mine.
We spent about 4 hours at the carnival and really had a good time, the rides were worn out, too old and rusty, the carnies were creepy, toothless and nasty and I kid you not, three of them were trading rides for cigarettes TO CHILDREN! Ok, they were teens, but still, minors! Ugh, so wrong.
Saturday morning we went to Grove to meet up with some other families and head out on their 33' cabin cruiser. Sweeeeeeeeeeeet. We had Bubba's BBQ *yumm-o* and lots of alcohol to drink. I, of course, can't drink for another 10 months, but hey, it was still there and I watched my husband drink. We all got sunburned except for my too tanned child, I swear she was switched at birth. The water was great, the boat was superb, the company was sooooooo nice and the whole experience was wonderful! I can't wait to do it again!
Bob actually got too drunk. How drunk is too drunk? Well, it involves being at peace. When he's at peace, he's too drunk. It's hard to describe, but that is one man who should not find his happy place. LOL Honestly though, it was so good for him, he had a great time. So did Miss Whineyhiney, she made a new friend and even has plans for later this summer with the girl.
Sunday was a day of peace and quiet. Bob was hungover and sunburned so he was not doing much. We read about the horrible crash on the turnpike that killed 3 souls from Afton, so sad. We read the Best Buy ad and decided to get me a new wireless router for my laptop. We read the Academy ad and saw boots on sale, Bob needs boots, but Bob was too hung over to care so the boots are on the back burner now. LOL
I went with my mom to the new High Winds casino and we did alright. I came out better than when I went in. She lost her ass of course. While I was at the casino, the DISH man came and repaired our satellite system, now I can watch my shows without errors. Then Miss Whineyhiney had an afternoon rehersal with a friend so Bob and I headed back out the High Winds and got two free t-shirts, some freeplay and he hit the jackpot on a Penny Lane machine. Not too shabby of a day I must say. Actually my whole weekend was great.
Two more days until I start my new job. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!

Finally Friday, er um, Wednesday
I have been writing this post since last Friday and just could not seem to finish it.
This week has been so wild. Things are really good right now. I just know someone is going to drop a house on me and steal my perty red shoes or something.
I've been offered another job, a great paying salary job with benefits. Lemme say that again, benefits. Damn, that sounds good. Feels good, I'd go so far to say if I sniffed it, it'd smell good too. I wasn't even looking for a new job, I was sought after, word of mouth. I'm so honored.
I think that may have been why I chose to take it, because I wasn't looking.... Sometimes good things find you when you are least expecting them. Take opportunities when you can.
I have to admit it's so fantasic to be wanted, to hear good things about yourself, to be told that so and so said great things about you and you didn't know about it. I like that feeling. I was really feeling down on myself after the whole stalker bit (no, I didn't discuss it here and I don't intend to either, those who need to know, know).
Ok, so enough about me, onto the other things going on.
Miss Whineyhiney has been so busy with activities I can barely keep up with her schedule! The next few weeks is going to be worse too! LOL She's doing Miami Little Theater, they're doing the junior version of Godspell. I don't know what that is exactly but she's having a lot of fun, that's all I care about. She's also doing M.S.R.P. and she loves that too, she's learning a lot of new things, making new friends and having a ball! What more coud a parent ask for? And the tan on that child, I swear, I don't know where she gets it from.
Here's some highlights (or lowlights) of my week:
Retro Kim found out she has gall stones. OUCH! I had mine out in 1994 and the surgery has changed a lot since then. When I had mine out, I was supposed to stay the night, but I had no insurance so I got up and left against the doctors' wishes. When Bob had his out two years ago, they couldn't get rid of him fast enough, he was barely out of the anesthesia and the nurse was puttin' his underwear on him! Seriously! We both had the same surgeon too!
Earth Lily's daughter had heart surgery in Kansas City this week, that poor girl has been to hell and back and now this...... poor baby. She's just in 2nd grade, maybe 50 pounds, it's just not right.... Oh, get this, they went in through her mouth to get to her heart. Will wonders never cease?
Cruella is having a grand time in Idaho without me. Soooooo totally sucks. It's just so wrong to be such a jetsetter without your side kick (uh hum, that would be me.)
Mrs. Coach's beautiful blonde flower child was hospitalized this weekend. She's better now, thanks to lots of love from Mom and some good TLC from several doctors. I also think that some candy and balloons had something to do with it but I could be wrong.
Irish Divinity and I had lunch Monday and that was nice. Thanks Irish Divinity, I had a great time! I hope you did too!

What a weekend!
Oy, it's been forever since I posted!
Last week was insane! MWH was at the YES program with Mrs. Coach (a HUGE THANK YOU for inviting her and he pictures and the driving and everything else you did!) I had all sorts of running to do every different day and now that I think about it, I couldn't tell you what the hell I did but I do know I never stopped!
Monday she had a dentist appointment (no cavities, I so rock as a mom) and then she had to be out at Sky Ranch and wow that place is truly amazing!
Wednesday, we watched Tristan + Isolde and, wow, that was a good movie. Lots of romance, lots of action and it was set back in midevil days and that is just too cool.
Thursday Bob & I went out gambling and didn't win anything, I guess my Mr. Moneybags days are over. Oh well, how many times can you hit a real jackpot in one lifetime anyway? hehehe
Saturday we went to Joplin to see Cars and it was really, really good. I loved the tractor tipping scene, I nearly wet myself laughing so hard. When I saw the previews, I really wasn't sure it would be a movie I'd want to see. I kinda went in thinking it wouldn't be that good, that it was more of a guy movie. Lemme tell you I was wrong. It was funny for young and old, men and women. There were so many little funny moments, I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I won't go on and on and on about it.
Sunday MWH & I went to the pool and I went down the blue slide, wow, that thing is FAST! There is NO WAY I'll go down the yellow one, it's too high. I'm too scared of the height, not the speed or going down it, it's climbing up there and feeling the thing move! The blue slide stairs moved and good grief I can imagine how much the yellow slide stairs will!
Have you wall watched Windfall yet? I'm was an 80's kid, I adore Luke Perry and Jason Gedrick! WOO HOO! I'm so glad they're back on TV! The show looks pretty good, a couple scenes were unrealistic but who knows, it's not like I'll ever win $20 million so who am I to talk?
Big Love is over for the season ( so sad ) and Deadwood and Rescue Me have started. I'm in heaven for a while.
It looks like my lunch break is about over, later taters!

Princess Di, Tigerbeat, Pole Dancers and Beeeeeer!
What a weekend! Whew!
Bob's company had their annual picnic Saturday and we signed up to participate in the scavenger hunt. WTF? Um, I'm 34, scavenger hunts are for kids, scavenger hunts are for energetic people, scavenger hunts are FUN! LOL Ok, so out of 100 items, I had 94 or 96 of them! I've used every favor I could call on!
Where would I find a Tiger Beat magazine with the Osmond brothers on it? You'd ask my friend Cean, she rooooooooocks.
What about a Nixon campain button? You'd go see the Classy Bitchy Brassy woman down on main street if she were ever fucking open! Um, helloooooooo, that's a tough one to find!
After all that hard work and efford, yes, I won. I WON! WOO HOO! I say "I" but truly it was a "we" who won but dammit I did most of the work, most of the running, most of the leg work. I had the contacts, I kissed the asses and I had my eye on the prize.
Bob was in charge of the Fear Factor event and let me tell you that ROCKED. I was supposed to be just for the kids, but it was sooooooo kewl the adults got involved too! Young and old were lining up to root around face first in a bin of potting soil in search of a burried key! I won't even begin to tell you what that first key opened, talk about nasty, but the last key opened a box containing either mustard sardines or pickled pigs feet and holy cow no one threw up! One kid even asked Bob for the left overs, HE LOVED THE SARDINES! Ewwwwwwwwww. I swear, I threw up in my mouth a little twice!
The picnic was catered by Jim Neely and his motley crew and damn, I have to say it was some damn fine BBQ. The boys who served, I believe most were Jim's grandkids, were amazing, very professional and courteous. I wish we had a place like that around here!
After a great day of wiffle ball, scavenger hunting, bobbing for apples (yes, I did that too), bean bag tossing, three-legged racing, water balloon tossing and bingo, most of the folks went home but a select few stayed to play horseshoes and drink beer. Let me rephrase that, drink beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer. I swear to all that is holy there was more beer drank there than day than I've seen in my adult life. What do you get when you put a few dozen men together with a crap load of beer and some horseshoes? A DAMNED GOOD TIME! There was wild pitches, blood, broken bones (hairline fracture maybe, but I think he was faking! LOL) and yes, one man was so drunk he gave us a free pole dancing show. Yes, my night was complete.
I had such a great time I can't wait to do it again!
Oh, the other great thing that happened that morning was that I stopped at a garage sale and found a Prada purse for $4.00. THAT WAS AWESOME! It's lime green, very springy, and has silver chains on it! I swear, my day went so good I just knew a house was going to land on me and someone was going to steal my shoes! I don't know if it's a real Prada or a knock off but, hell, who fucking cares? I like it either way!
Sunday Missy and I hit the pool and wow that felt good, a bit cold, but it was nice to get in the water! The new 30 foot slide is great and now that they've got the mats for it, she loves it!
Things are good.......

I'm back
About a month ago, my blog got hijacked or something. I have no idea, it was the second time it happened and I just decided to give up. I sent an email to Blogger and they found it but renamed it something I didn't like so I renamed it yet again.
So, here I am.
Some of you might ask, "but first..."? WTF? Well, so often I need to do something, want to do something but can't because so many things also need to be done. Yeah, sucks to be me sometimes. So, "but first...." was created, it just seems to fit me.
Ok, no wise cracks from the peanut gallery though about me being ass backwards or doing things butt first! LOL
